Planning an end-of-line automation project

Start with the product

Record product dimensions, weight, packaging and line output before choosing equipment. Include peak capacity, shift patterns and the required final pallet layout.

Design one connected flow

Align conveyor, case-packing, palletizing and wrapping cycles. Define buffers, product orientation, rejected-product handling and the PLC–HMI interfaces.

Agree acceptance criteria

Define throughput, changeover, restart and training requirements before factory and site acceptance tests. Use samples that represent real production.
